I’ve been away from my computer, so I am late getting to Saturday Centus.  Jenny is having a giveaway, so I had to hurry to participate.  This week, Jenny gave us 50 words in addition to the prompt.

DARK DAYS AHEAD

(Prompt:  “You are my sunshine”)

Your heart is no longer mine.

So, I’ll be leaving this place now.

“But you are my sunshine. 

Live in darkness? Tell me how.”

Toward truth and freedom I will run,

Tell her all of your ugly black lies.

I’ll take away the warm bright sun,

And leave you with her cold dark skies.
