Don’t ask me why, but I am joining Saturday Centus at Jenny Matlock’s. Once again, she has given a prompt that proves her blog is aptly titled Off On My Tangent. Jenny, you didn’t have to play this horrible Halloween trick. All you had to do was ask, and I would have gladly given you a treat! Just wait until you see the prompt.
Yep! That’s it. That’s the prompt. I know, you thought the picture didn’t load. When I saw it at Jenny’s, that’s what I thought. I studied it for awhile, thinking I wasn’t seeing the hidden message. Then, I read further and learned that I wasn’t missing anything in the picture. Jenny calls it “A Study in Black”! In addition to this uninspiring “artwork”, Jenny has limited us to 25 words this week! She is really off on a tangent this week! Well, I threw up my hands and said, I’m not doing it, but then decided I would post a plea to Jenny, so here is my 25 word plea.
TURN ON THE LIGHT!
(Prompt: A black box, which Jenny has the nerve to title “A Study In Black)
Jenny, please turn on the light!
A Study in Black and 25 words?
My Muse has suddenly taken flight,
And headed South with Winter birds.
Thanks for coming to read my plea to Jenny. I’m sure others were inspired by this “prompt”. You can find out by visiting Off On My Tangent for links to other contributions. Laurie
